BCBA JOB DESCRIPTION
Children’s Milestone ABA is a behavioral health organization. We provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for children on the autism spectrum.
Our qualified Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) possess experience, training, and utilization of their skills to improve social, behavioral, and adaptive skills with individually customized programs. We offer expert treatment, innovative techniques, compassion and will schedule at families’ convenience.
We are currently seeking BCBAs to plan, develop, and monitor behavioral support options for clients diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), social and communication, and other behavioral challenges. The BCBA will design, implement, and evaluate different environmental modifications to produce social improvement in behavior. BCBA will oversee all individual treatment plans, individuals working with clients, and all other ABA needs.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
- Conduct descriptive and methodical behavioral assessments, including functional analyses.
- Implement interventions that target behaviors that are beneficial to the client
- Design and supervise ethical and practical behavior analytic interventions
- Develop and implement practical assessments, skill acquisition, and intervention methods.
- Use ABA to develop behaviors and teach new skills, including but not limited to improving social interactions, on-task behaviors, maintain behaviors (self-control and self-monitoring), and transfer behaviors from one situation to another.
- Provide support during family concerns regarding assessment results, next steps, and recommendations.
- Function in a supervisory capacity and provide manage all areas of programming, including behavioral technicians’ training.
- Review and sign off on the behavior plan/treatment plan for all field staff.
- Be the main point of contact between Children’s Milestone and family.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree in behavioral analysis, psychology, education, or related field.
- Current BCBA certification and MD license (LBA)
- 1-year experience preferred but not required.
- Current malpractice insurance.
- Awareness and ability to administer and interpret a variety of clinical assessments.
- Display excellent clinical competence and judgment.
- Demonstrated skills and experience with ABA with children with ASD or similar disorders.
- Clear communication, problem-solving, project management, and organizational skills.
- 8 hour Supervision Certificate.
